ABOUT ME

My name is Sarye Deprese, and I am an entrepreneur from the south bay area of Southern California. As a young child, my mother used to tell me stories about us taking afteroon walks and how I would leap in excitement everytime I saw a dog. She was always terrified about my initial reaction, each time I came in contact with one, worried that I'd get biten. "Oh puppy, Mommy! I see puppy! " I shouted as I reached towards the dogs. I loved to pet them, no matter the size and no matter the breed. I was just so excited to see dogs everytime we went on our joyous walks together.

Throughout my upbringing, I have befriended a variety of dogs; such as Labadours, Huskies, Chihuahuas, Rockwilders, Pitbulls, Saint bernards, and Terriers. I knew from a young age, I had a true passion for dogs. During the pandemic, my family and I suffered a tremendous loss, of our fur baby, Maui. Maui was our beloved Queensland Heel, who passed away from skin cancer. Maui was more than just a paw member, she was like a younger sibling to me. She was my emotional support and I talked to her about everything. We worked out together because she was filled with energy, fun, and athleticism. Her spirit lives within me and she is forever missed in our hearts. Maui's legacy engaged a new level of passion and drive that encouraged me to start my business and set new personal goals. It is in her honor, that I lead with integrity and thrive with grace.

I was raised with a strong background in utilizing natural ingredients from my mother and grandmother. I prefer to cook, clean, and bathe with natural products over chemically processed. In 2021, my company, Katch Organic was born. I wanted to create a business that exuded my love for dogs combined with my passion for a healthy lifestyle. This led me to develop an organic food business that would support an enriched diet for dogs. Our variety of flavors and sizes is intended to appeal to all types of breeds, supplying a yummy taste that makes their tails wag! In the future, I see Katch Organic being something very mainstream that you wouldn't want to pass up. We are trying to expand the business and the company by sharing and giving all organic experiences. This mission will be granted to the whole community as a resource and not just for dogs. We want to extend our business towards helping the unhoused who have dogs as a part of service.
